I spoke with Ken Jr. of Brown’s Tree Service here in Steelville about a cedar tree in the Steelville Cemetery that was split apart down to the ground and ready to fall. Since we spoke there was another tree struck by lightning. After getting the approval to take down the split tree, Ken Brown Sr. and Ken Brown Jr. looked at both trees and cut them both down at no charge to the Steelville Cemetery. One of their ways of giving back to the community.
