Temple in Training will be hosting its Second Annual Meramec Paddle and/or Plunge on New Year’s Day on the Meramec River in Steelville. The 16-mile paddle will begin at Scott’s Ford at 8 a.m. and go to Bird’s Nest. The plunge will be held at approximately 2 p.m. at the end of the float.
Costumes are also encouraged, but please keep in mind this is a family event. There will be attendance prizes, a bonfire, hot chocolate, chili and emergency blankets at the end of the float.
