Sho-Me ending electric contract with city in three years Print E-mail

Cuba is one of more than a dozen municipalities that received an early termination notice from Sho-Me Power Cooperative late last year. The electric cooperative will cease selling electric power to the city after March 25, 2013, and the letter of notice was in keeping with their contractual agreement that they alert customers three years prior to ending the service agreement.

Rain and sleet make for a dangerous combination

Three women were injured in a vehicle pile-up near Cuba on Wednesday. The wreck was a result of the icy road conditions that afternoon.
