All Aboard Learning Center is having its 3rd Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run at Hood Park this weekend. The Turkey Trot takes place on Saturday, Nov. 21. Registration for the races begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30 a.m., the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 10:30 a.m. and the awards ceremony at 11 a.m. This Thanksgiving holiday fundraising tradition at All Aboard, now in its third year, helps raise money to operate the learning center. All Aboard Learning Center is a non-profit facility that enrolls over 100 children from the Crawford County area. The first 200 registrations receive a free Turkey Trot T-shirt. Participation ribbons will go to all children. First place winners in the male and female divisions of the 5K run will receive a $50 cash prize. Trophies go to the top three male and female finishers in each of the 5K’s age divisions. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls finishing in each age group of the 1 Mile Fun Run. This weekend’s event will be held rain or shine at Hood Park in Cuba. For more information, call 573-677-2252.
