    A local student recently received a special Christmas present from Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. Reece Kinnaird had written the author three years ago and never received a response. On December 18 she received a letter directly from the author.

Eagle viewing planned at Montauk State Park in February

Guests can watch as the eagles glide across the skies above the Montauk valley on Feb. 6 and Feb. 20 at Montauk State Park.
