School board transfers money for capital projects

The Cuba School Board has authorized a $690,000 fund transfer for capital project improvements at the R-2 School District. The fund transfer approved last week will reduce the district’s reserve cash by about seven percent but is touted by the superintendent of schools as a smart financial move, providing funds for this summer’s campus construction projects.
