Crawford County R-2 (Cuba) School Board notes from the meeting of Sept. 22, 2014:

• Certified Public Accountant Joe Leathers presented the Cuba Board of Education with his audit report for the 2013-14 school budget year. It was a positive overall review, and there were no findings by Leathers with regard to internal controls or the district’s compliance with existing state and federal financial reporting laws. “In my mind, the administrative staff is very easy to work with, and they are doing a very good job,” said Leathers.
