    Post-season honors are continuing to roll in for St. James High School basketball players. Several players recently earned all-district honors and one has been named all-state.

Tigers varsity baseball team gets off to 1-3 start

    The St. James varsity baseball season started off with one win and three losses in their first week of games. After losing to St. Clair on March 24, Festus on March 25 and New Haven on Saturday in the Hermann tournament, the Tigers earned their first win of the season Saturday against Owensville, also at the Hermann tournament.

Tigers do well at practice meet to open track season

    The St. James High School Tigers track teams participated in the Rolla Open House Meet on March 24 with Salem and Rolla. Being an “unofficial” meet, not all results were available, but it was a great event to warm up for the season on a snowy afternoon.

Soccer girls drops opener 12-0

    The St. James Lady Tigers got off to a rough start on the pitch as the lost their first soccer game of the 2014 season to Mountain View 12-0 on March 27. The game was called at the end of the first half under the mercy rule. Under high school rules, if one team is in the lead by 10 at half time or anytime in the second half the game is done, or if a team leads by 15 at any time in the first half the game is called immediately.

Crider is headed to Missouri Valley

    Missouri Valley College in Marshall has signed a Tiger to be a Viking! Courtney Crider will be on the softball diamond in Viking purple and orange after she graduates from St. James.
