Restless Heart coming to Meramec Music Theatre

    Restless Heart, a seven-time County Music Association nominee, four-time GRAMMY nominee, and 1990 Country Music Association Group of the Year, will be performing at the Meramec Music Theatre June 22 at 8 p.m. as part of their 30th anniversary tour.

Community Choir forming for Christmas concert

    A Community Choir is being formed for the purpose of presenting a Christmas Musical Concert on Saturday, December 14, at the Meramec Music Theater in Steelville. The Concert will be a collection of sacred Christmas music that will tell the Christmas story. This concert will be free to the public.

OAT season opening with Peter Pan

Ozark Actors Theater presents the first show of Season 26, Fairy Tales and Fables:  PETER PAN THE MUSICAL, by Piers Chater Robinson, and directed by Jason Cannon.
Performances are June 20-30, Thursday/Friday/Saturday at 7:30pm, and Friday/Sunday at 2pm.

Rock Music completes the August series

‘Tuesdays @ 2’ programs being held in June at State Museum

    The staff of the Missouri State Museum will be holding a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri’s cultural and natural history. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the “Tuesdays @ 2” programs will take place each Tuesday at 2 p.m. weekly through September. Although the main audience is children age 6-12 years, the programs will appeal to all ages. Some of these programs will reflect the museum’s “Summer of Storytelling” theme.
