Grandmother from New Jersey charged in Crawford County
The woman who made national news for allegedly abducting her granddaughter now faces charges in Crawford County related to the case. Terry D. Omeni, 60, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, has been charged with class D felony interference with custody (removed from state or concealed).

MoDOT promotes sales tax to city councilmen
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) wants your vote on August 5, and they’re working hard to get it. Officers lodge internal complaints against police chief
Crow could face impeachment by council at meeting on August 5
Members of the Police Committee are split on whether or not to pursue impeachment proceedings against Police Chief Paul Crow, following allegations of impropriety lodged against him by officers within the department. The matter remained unresolved after the Police Committee met briefly on Monday morning, and the full council plans to take it up at next Tuesday’s regular council meeting at city hall.
