Several county bids announced, accepted

    During the week of May 9 and May 14, Phelps County Commissioners:
    • Issued bid solicitation for a secure counter system with high impact resistant glass for the Phelps County Collector’s office. Bids will be received in the Phelps County Clerk’s office until 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 30.

Commissioners meet in St. James

    Phelps County Commissioners held their regular Tuesday meeting at the St. James Municipal Center on April 23 as part of National County Government month. Commissioners are holding meetings in each of the cities in the county and this was a chance for residents to meet office holders and learn what they do. Commissioners have held meetings in Newburg, Edgar Springs, and St. James as part of their tour.
