Stoddard County angler swipes state record for black buffalo

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) congratulates Joshua Lee of Bernie on his record-breaking 76-pound black buffalo shot in Stoddard County. Lee shot the whopper of a fish while bowfishing at Duck Creek Conservation Area Pool 1 April 21. The previous record weighed 74-pounds.

Join fundraiser in Rolla to help Missouri Stream Team program celebrates 30 years of stewardship

    This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Missouri Stream Team Program and the 20th anniversary of Missouri Stream Team Watershed Coalition, also known as Stream Teams United. From its beginnings in 1989 with Stream Team #1, Roubidoux Fly Fishers, the Stream Team Program has grown to more than 5,800 Teams and 21 watershed-level Stream Team associations working in streams and rivers in nearly every corner of the state.
