The Steelville Arts Council is hosting “Shutter Bugs III,” a photography exhibit, at Gallery Zeke this month. The show is open from September 12 to 28. This exhibit features a selection of recent photographs from a number of photographers.
You are invited to view the world through the eyes of a passionate photographer. Photography is much more than just the science of recording images by means of capturing light on a light-sensitive medium. These image-makers examine the complexity of the world we live in by capturing a moment in time. These images reflect the unique viewpoint, creativity and versatility of each photographer. The arts council hopes this exhibit challenges each viewer to take pause, to look closely, and to enjoy the world around us.
This exhibit is on display at Gallery Zeke, located on Main Street in downtown Steelville. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 14 from 1 to 4 p.m.
