Free climate film series continues

    The Rolla Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby is continuing its free documentary film series concerning the impacts of climate change and possible actions to curb its effects on our planet The three-part series continues on the fourth Thursday of September and October. Please note new times and venues.


    Remaining films in the series include:
    • ICE ON FIRE: Produced by Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio, Ice on Fire is an eye-opening documentary that focuses on many solutions designed to slow down our escalating environmental crisis. The film offers hope that we can obviate the worst effects of global warming. The film can be seen at 5:30 p.m. on September 26 in the Rolla Public Library meeting room.
    • PARIS TO PITTSBURGH: In the face of dire impacts of climate change, this film features several national and community leaders facing climate change–fueled disasters, and presents their recovery, resiliency, and tireless efforts to inspire homegrown change. This film will also be presented at 5:30 p.m. in the Rolla Public Library meeting room on October 24.
    Everyone is welcome to attend. Free popcorn will be provided.
