Daniel Robert Carbaugh of Steelville, Missouri was born May 24, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Arthur and Mary Margaret Kern Lippert and passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 15 days.
Later on he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Curtis Carbaugh.
On December 6, 1980 in Union, Missouri Daniel married Connie Pyatt.
Daniel was employed in maintenance at different schools in the local area. He always enjoyed playing football during high school and watching it on TV along with baseball. Throughout the years, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and bowling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister-in-law, Deborah Reiger.
He is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Connie Carbaugh of Steelville, Missouri; one son, Daniel (companion Jennifer Borage) Carbaugh of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, Rich (Cathy) Carbaugh of Granbury, Texas; two sisters, Diana (Charlie) Brown and Julie Lippert, all of St. Louis, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kimberly Pyatt of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Darrell Nichols officiating. Special music of “One Day at a Time” and “Go Rest High” was played.
Committal prayer and interment were in the Martin-Trask Cemetery in Cherryville, Missouri.
Casket bearers were Dan Carbaugh, Mike Kramer, Terry English, Calaeb Scott, Matt Knight, Danny Pyatt and Rick Runyon.
