Patricia M. Evans (nee Hutchings) of Vichy, Missouri was born on Sunday, March 21, 1937 to Gentry Willard and Trula Esther Fryman Hutchings in Banner, Missouri and passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 23 days.
Patricia married Odell Leland Evans on August 4, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Patricia was a homemaker most of her life but also had several jobs throughout her life such as a factory worker, a cook and a caregiver. Patricia was very talented, she played the guitar and piano by ear and loved music. She was very crafty. She enjoyed baking, painting, ceramics, crocheting and sewing. She made her daughter’s clothes and kept them looking nice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gentry Willard Hutchings and Trula Esther Hutchings; husband, Odell Leland Evans; parents-in-law, Roy and Edna Evans; sisters, Wanda Hawkins, Lorene Ogzwalla and Charlene Amburgy; brother, Rick Hutchings; brothers-in-law, Lavern Evans, Olin Evans and Darald Evans; son-in-law, Kenny Jackson; and infant grandson, David Timothy Evans.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Jackson of Desloge, Missouri, Beverly (Dean) Morris of Pevely, Missouri and Debbie Patrick of Vichy, Missouri; ex son-in-law, Brian Patrick of House Springs, Missouri; siblings, Geraldine (Jerry) King and Betty (Curt) Lefler, both of Berryman, Missouri, Donna Tittsworth, Sonny (Mary) Hutchings and Edward (Sandy) Robertson, all of Steelville, Missouri and Jess Evans of Effingham, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Dale) Benson of St. James, Missouri, Glenna Dicus of Desloge, Missouri, Mattie Evans of Potosi, Missouri, Pat Evans of Festus, Missouri and Karen Hutchings of Cuba, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, Deanna (Paul), Brenda (Chuck), Patricia, Peter, Isabel, Charlie (Melissa), Odell (April), Melissa, Sonya, Susan, Diane (Patrick) and Crystal; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
Visitation were held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. with Bro. Charles Jackson officiating.
Burial was at the Shoal Creek Cemetery.
