Flora “Juanita” Harrison, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of St. James, Missouri, was born in Rolla, Missouri on February 7, 1924 to Leonard Henry and Sarah Rebecca (Willson) Pilger and passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Juanita went to work at Rolla State Bank, which was later bought by Commerce Bank, where she worked her way up from a teller position to head of bookkeeping and balancing.
After she retired she moved to Omaha, Nebraska to be with her son.
She was a longtime member of the St. James Solid Rock Christian Church, she enjoyed playing cards and especially loved getting together with friends to play pinochle. In her later years, she found the world of online games, words with friends, became her new favorite.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Sarah Pilger.
She is survived by her son, Dr. William L. Harrison of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Sarah Rebecca Marks and William Owen Harrison; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Randy Ridenhour officiating.
Internment was at the St. James Cemetery.
