As part of a community service project, the Bourbon FFA sent soldier care packages to military members that are stationed overseas for the holidays again this year. This is the third year the Bourbon FFA has done this project and it continues to grow each year.

The first year 17 packages were sent and this year, with the help of local businesses, 30 packages were shipped with over 200 pounds of goods to Somalia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The Bourbon FFA appreciates the following businesses for helping to make this project a success: Bourbon Family Center, Town and Country Bank, Peoples Bank, First National Community Bank, St. Louis Community Bank, Wayde’s Equipment, McGinnis Wood Products Inc., Jim’s Motors, Mar-Bal Inc., BOR2 and Bremer Hardware.
