Sullivan Hospital Auxiliary needs you

The Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Auxiliary has been active in this community for almost 60 years.  Do you ever wonder what the hospital auxiliary actually does?  Many would say they are the pink ladies and volunteer at the hospital.  That is right, but the auxiliary is so much more to the community.

The auxiliary awards several scholarships in the surrounding area each year to those pursuing an educational program in medical services.  Scholarship applications are currently available in the hospital gift shop… In addition to that, the auxiliary helps fund a wish list for hospital departments seeking equipment purchases that do not fall within their budgets.
While these are the main focus of the auxiliary, we are also aware of needs of the community and donate to several other groups, including Chamber of Commerce events, Project Graduations, area Golf Tournaments, Toy Drive, Mission Christmas and Food Drive, etc.
Volunteers are needed to work in the gift shop:  once or twice a month or once a week, depending on how much time you are willing to give.  There are four shifts to choose from:  9 a.m. – noon; noon – 3 p.m., 3-6 p.m., and 6-8 p.m.  Volunteers also work in other departments where needed.
If you feel auxiliary service may be a good fit for you, please pick up an application form in the hospital gift shop.  Your contribution would be greatly appreciated. Check out our Facebook page at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Auxiliary@sullivanpinkladies.
