Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Funding
DED is seeking public comment on the Draft Mitigation Action Plan for spending $41 million in Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds that have been allocated to Missouri by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds represent an opportunity for the state to assist areas impacted by the 2017 floods with the implementation of projects that will help communities reduce future disaster risks.
The Draft Mitigation Action Plan is available for review in English and Spanish on DED’s CDBG-Mitigation website at: https://ded.mo.gov/mitigation. Printed copies of the Action Plan can be requested by calling 573-751-3600.
Public comments must be submitted to the DED no later than April 4, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., via:
