David Beckett of Bourbon, Missouri was born in Rolla, Missouri on October 15, 1957 to Harold and Barbara (Bell) Beckett and passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the age of 63 years.
He grew up and attended school in Bourbon, Missouri and graduated from Bourbon High School in the Class of 1976.
Earlier in life Dave worked as a laborer at Simmerly Sawmill and worked in many different roles there. He also worked many maintenance jobs from lawn care to ranch hand service for area farmers.
He was also well known in CB and Ham Radio world where he had many friends whom he often gave life advice to and ministered to.
David loved to work on machinery and tinker with things around the house. He also enjoyed building computers and repairing them. David was firm in his faith and would share the Gospel with anyone if he was given the chance to. David was accepting of everyone, no matter what walk of life they came from.
He had a gentle soul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Barbara Beckett; and a brother Michael Beckett.
He is survived by a brother, Randy Beckett and wife Denise of Bourbon, Missouri; sister, Donna Eoff and husband James of Bourbon, Missouri; two nephews, Blake and Beau Beckett of Bourbon, Missouri; one niece, Erica Hernandez and husband Robert of Sullivan, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements have taken place and a memorial service will be planned for the spring of 2021.
