The University of Missouri’s School of Visual Studies (SVS) Art on the Move (AOM) Outreach Program presents SVS student, Alex Sapaugh in Rolla, on Friday, December 6 for a reception at The Centre for Local Color, an exhibition hosted by Arts Rolla.
East Central College theatre is proud to announce auditions for their spring show, 9-5 The Musical with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and the book by Patricia Resnick, the show is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.

Three orchestras across the globe will perform an original composition, “Burst,” by Dr. Kyle Wernke, orchestra director at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This week, Ablaze Records will release a recording of the piece performed by Czech Republic orchestra Brno Philharmonic on Orchestral Masters, Volume 6. Two other orchestras in Tampa Bay, Florida, and Paris will perform the work for live audiences in the coming months.
