Youth livestock auction set for Saturday

    The show must go on for area youth livestock participants who would have taken part in this year’s Crawford County Fair, which would have been held this week but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That livestock show will get underway Friday, followed by an auction on Saturday at Interstate Regional Stockyards in Cuba.

Chamber hears local economic update

    The Cuba Chamber of Commerce met in an open meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, July 1. The chamber discussed progress on the new medical marijuana facility opening up in the near future.

Ward 1 voters heading back to polls

    In the June 2 Cuba municipal election, incumbent Ward 1 Alderman Warren Graddy and challenger Harold Halbert finished in a dead heat. The result has prompted a new election, which is scheduled for next week.
