Following an announcement by the state that last week that schools can stop quarantining students and staff if they have possibly been exposed to the coronavirus as long as everyone is wearing masks, Bourbon School District Superintendent Kyle Gibbs says he will not be recommending the board of education change the district’s current policy.

More charges filed in Bourbon shooting case
The man who allegedly fired shots at another person outside of Bourbon on October 20 is in jail. The 21-year-old was originally charged with three felonies and held on a no-bond warrant. Further investigation resulted in eight more felony charges against the man, related to incidents that took place on three separate dates in Crawford County.
