Although the COVID-19 health crisis has effected much of our day-to-day lives, it has not brought a halt to child abuse. Volunteers with Mid-Ozark CASA are working hard to ensure that abuse and neglect do not go unnoticed.

Crawford County Fair President Shane Staples announced via Facebook Monday evening that this year’s fair has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Staples made the announcement via video and included the following post.
Imagine Your Story! is the theme for the Crawford County Library District’s (CCLD) virtual summer reading program. The program will feature online reading challenges to earn badges and prizes. Participants can enter drawings for grand prizes by earning badges.
Christopher Glen Nash, 43, of Cherryville, has been charged with class E felony resisting an arrest as a result of an April 5 incident.
A car chase on I-44 led to the arrest of a Saint Louis man on May 4. Michael Madison, 37, has been charged with class E felony resisting a lawful stop in Crawford County as a result of the incident.
