CCHD provides possible exposure info on positive COVID-19 case

Part of the Crawford County Health Department’s duty to protect the public’s health, involves informing of potential COVID-19 exposure in the community.
Individuals at the following locations on the dates below are at low risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor for symptoms: Wednesday April 15, 2020 at Price Chopper in Rolla, from approximately noon to 1 p.m. 

Local resort owner talks to commission about COVID-19 concerns

    Local resort co-owner Corey Cottrell, of Huzzah Valley Resort, spoke to Crawford County Commissioners at their weekly meeting on April 14. He said he was there to “explain what’s going on in our business world. I understand there’s a lot of concern about tourists coming into our area from out of our area. The good news is we’re not busy.”

CCHD Director reports rising cases of coronavirus in Missouri

    In her weekly COVID-19 report to the Crawford County Commission on April 14, Health Department Director Honor Evans noted that cases were “still rising rapidly in Missouri,” adding, “I expect it to continue to increase, and am expecting a peak around April 21-22.”
