Field not ready to practice on for Lady Tigers

    St. James High School softball head coach Brad Purvis has assured his players that they are going to have a really nice field to play their home games on this fall. But as practice has started this week, it’s just not ready to play on yet.

Tigers football squad will count on inexperienced players this fall

    The old cliché that you’ll need a program to know the team is accurate for the St. James football Tigers this fall.
    With a number of graduation losses on both sides of the ball, STJ will be counting on a lot of young, inexperienced players who will be playing at the varsity level for the first time.

High school fall practices begin next week

    Ready or not, schools are back in session around the state this month. And as part of that, high school fall sports programs associated with the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) begin their respective preseason practices on Monday, Aug. 12.

Tiger gridders wrap up summer activities

The final tune-up before the start of the 2019 season came for the St. James football team last week in the form of the Tiger Football Camp.
Tiger head coach Josh Rodriguez and his staff directed incoming players from grades 9-12 in the team camp at the STJ Turf Field, officially ending the squad’s summer off-season activities.
