The Phelps County Public Housing Agency is looking to expand its pool of potential landlords who are willing to rent to clients on the HUD Housing Choice Voucher program.

The Phelps County Commissioner recently approved the acceptance of more than $5.2 million through the federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) act to help with local COVID-19 relief efforts. Commissioners now are seeking guidance as to how the money can be spent.

Blaylock, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that effective Monday, May 11, driver testing services will resume for written and skills testing of all classes, including Class F (operator’s), at Troop I’s two testing locations.
