RDBA launches Downtown Summer Stroll

    Six lucky winners will win gift bags filled with gift cards from the Rolla downtown businesses or $200 in Downtown Dollars. The Rolla Downtown Business Association (RDBA) has announced the event is being held until August 1.

Donna Jennings, a doctoral student in aerospace engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has received a 2020 Amelia Earhart Fellowship from Zonta International Foundation in recognition of her research into satellite exploration of deep space.

Ozark Rivers announces 2021 grant round for waste reduction, education, recycling projects

    The Ozark Rivers Solid Waste Management District (ORSWMD) is accepting grant applications for the 2021 grant round, beginning July 1. Grant applications are due by noon on Friday, Aug. 21.

S&T to require face coverings on campus and in classrooms

    To help slow the potential spread of COVID-19 on campus this fall, students, faculty and staff at Missouri University of Science and Technology will wear face coverings in classrooms, labs and common areas or when social distancing is not possible. The requirement will take effect on July 1, 2020, and will continue when the fall semester starts on Aug. 24.
