CMS boys back on court after brief shutdown

    After having their season interrupted for 10 days due to an in-person school closure, the Cuba Middle School boys basketball teams are back in action. The eighth graders are playing in the Bland tournament this week.

CMS girls lose games to COVID-19

    The Cuba Middle School girls basketball teams rolled into the 2020 season in early October with hopes for a fine season with 10 regular games and two tournaments on the schedule. By November, however, a team quarantine and then a school closure due to COVID-19 meant much of the season would never be played.

Fulliam qualifies for state cross country finals

    Cuba freshman Kaylee Fulliam is headed to the Class 3 state cross country finals after finishing eighth at the Class 3 District 4 meet at Linn on Saturday. The Lady Wildcats finished sixth as a team.

Wildcats hosting playoff football game on Friday

    After getting a 53-26 win at Winfield last Friday night, the varsity Cuba High School football team will be hosting Grandview on Friday in the opening round of the Class 2 District 2 tournament.

CHS volleyball season comes to an end

    The Cuba High School volleyball season came to an end Monday as the Lady Wildcats were defeated by Sullivan in the opening round of the Class 3 District 3 tournament in Owensville. The CHS varsity team finished the year with a record of 6-16-1.
