Wildcats win tight battle with Tigers - PHOTO GALLERY

    In a game that saw Cuba score seven points and St. James score six in each of the first three quarters, the varsity Wildcats football team pulled clear in the fourth quarter at home on Friday to defeat the Tigers 28-18. Cuba is now 3-2, while St. James fell to 0-5.

Fulliam takes first at Belle meet

    Cuba freshman Kaylee Fulliam won the varsity girls race at the Belle Invitational Cross Country Meet on September 24. The best team result for Cuba was a fourth place in the middle school boys race.

MSHSAA announces fall district assignments

    The Missouri State High School Activities Association has announced district assignments for all fall sports, including football, softball, volleyball, and cross country.

    Wildcats and Warhawks cross country runners were busy last week with a pair of meets. The teams competed in Bourbon on September 14 and traveled to Steelville on September 17.

    The Cuba High School varsity football team got its offense back on track last Friday, but just couldn’t score enough to keep up with a high-powered Park Hills Central team. Cuba, now 2-2, will host a winless St. James team this week.
