Siebert signs to run track at OCU

    Simon Siebert, a senior at Cuba High School Class, has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Oklahoma City University Track and Field Program in the Fall of 2020. Oklahoma City University (OCU) is renowned for their academic and athletic programs.

    The Cuba High School varsity and junior varsity boys basketball teams played a rare double-header against different opponents last week at home. The Wildcats hosted Bismarck and Hermann on December 30, with the varsity earning an easy victory.

BHS tourneys start Monday

    After hosting Bismarck on Monday, the Cuba High School varsity boys will be back in action next week in the Bourbon tournament. The Wildcats next regular games are scheduled for January 14 in St. James, while their next home games will not be until February 4.

CHS girls win three at Mountain Grove tourney

    The Cuba High School varsity girls basketball team won three of four games in the 16-team Mountain Grove Christmas Tournament, which ran December 23-28. The Lady Wildcats lost their opening game against Dora, but went on to get victories over Seymour, Plato and Mountain Grove.

Junior varsity boys take consolation

    Cuba High School’s junior varsity boys recently took consolation at the Steelville JV Basketball Tournament, which was played December 11, 14, and 18. The Wildcats fell to Vienna in the opening round, but then came back to beat Owensville and Belle.
