The Cuba High School varsity volleyball team traveled to the Eugene tournament on Saturday and came home with a third-place finish. The Lady Wildcats will close out their regular season this week before heading to Owensville for next week’s district tournament.

Lady Wildcats seeded fifth for district tourney
The Cuba Lady Wildcats are the fifth seed for the Class 3 District 3 Volleyball Tournament, which will be held October 26-27 at Owensville High School.
More than $1,200 raised at Pink Out game
After having four regular season matches canceled due to COVID-19, the Bourbon High School volleyball teams made back on the court on August 15 to host Dixon for the final home contest of the season. It was also the Lady Warhawks annual Pink Out game.

The Steelville Lady Cardinals are the top-seeded team for next week’s Class 2 District 7 Volleyball Tournament, which will be held at Bourbon High School.
Five CMS girls basketball games canceled
After quarantining 92 students at Cuba Middle School on Friday due to possible exposure to COVID-19, the school announced Monday that it is canceling five of its upcoming CMS girls basketball games. The Lady Wildcats will not be able to resume basketball activities until November 2.
Freshman burns Tigers in replacement game
