Tiger runners compete in Hermann Invitational

    The St. James High School cross country team competed in the Hermann Invitational Tuesday, Oct. 6.
    In the boys 5,000-meter race host Hermann was the winner with 40 points. New Bloomfield’s Nathan Hinrichs was the meet medalist with a time of 16:52.60 while Dalton Gleeson of Hermann was second at 17:03.07.

Sweet victory! Tigers snap 17-game skid

    Victory is always sweet. It was just a little sweeter than usual in St. James Friday, Oct. 9.
    The St. James High School football team recorded its first victory of the season Friday, Oct. 9 by scoring the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter to post a 12-6 Four Rivers Conference victory over Sullivan in its final home game of the season at Tiger Field.

Lady Tigers end regular season 4-17

    The St. James High School softball team was scheduled to begin district tournament competition this week.
    St. James was seeded sixth for the Missouri Class 3 District 3 Tournament, to be held Oct. 14-16 at Sullivan. The district schedule was re-seeded and first-round games rescheduled late last week after St. Francis Borgia forfeited out of the tournament due to COVID-19 issues.

Lady Tigers drop matches to Owensville, Hermann

    The St. James High School lost to Owensville and Hermann in Four Rivers Conference matches last week.
    Thursday, Oct. 8 STJ lost at home to Owensville 29-27, 25-23, 25-16.

SJMS girls teams improve to 6-0

    The St. James Middle School eighth-grade girls’ basketball team posted a pair of home victories last week at the St. James Middle School gym to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Warhawks run at big Potosi meet

    The Bourbon High School and Middle School cross country teams competed at the largest meet of the season Saturday at Potosi. There were 31 schools in attendance.
