Tigers finish second to top-ranked Blair Oaks

    A red-hot run to start the fourth quarter was the difference that allowed the top-seeded Blair Oaks Falcons—the state’s top-ranked Class 3 team—to come from behind and defeat third-seeded host St. James 46-43 in the championship game of the 75th annual St. James Tournament on Saturday.

Wrestling Tigers finish sixth in 13-school St. Clair Classic

    The St. James High School wrestling team finished sixth in the 13-school boys division and ninth in the 19-school girls division during the Fifth Annual St. Clair Classic, held Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Clair High School.

    A pair of non-conference opponents took on the Cuba High School girls basketball teams recently. The Lady Wildcats earned a home sweep over Northwest on Monday, but were swept at West County on January 13.
