In the interest of public health and safety, Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Leach Theatre has announced that its Campus Performing Arts Series (CPAS) will be delayed until winter 2020. The change comes after the theater canceled the last of its spring 2019 season due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After 122 years the spring picnic at St. John’s UCC-Bem is canceled due to COVID-19. We regret that this must happen. We are looking forward to seeing you August 29.
The Route 66 Summerfest committee has announced that the new dates for the 26th Annual event will be July 10 & July 11.
Due to the corona virus safety issues, the Summerfest committee has rescheduled the ever-popular event which is usually held the first weekend in June. Rolla’s Summerfest traditionally kicks off the beginning of summer.
Missouri University of Science and Technology theater students will present two evenings of online plays this May. The productions will include four newly written 10-minute plays from four national playwrights and will be performed via a live stream.
Many events this spring have been postponed due to COVID-19. The St. Louis Storytelling Festival did the opposite, launching a month early—as a virtual festival, of course.
