New VisionTM medical stabilization service now available at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital

    The use of alcohol and/or other substances can disrupt a person’s life in many ways.  Loss of job, breakup of marriages and families, loss of self-esteem, and even loss of life can result from the continued abuse of substances without proper treatment.  However, with stabilization, and an ongoing desire to remain free of the burden of substance use, many individuals can resume and maintain healthy lifestyles.  To assist individuals who are suffering in this situation, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital offers the New VisionTM service.

    Crawford Electric Cooperative, the local Touchstone Energy Cooperative held its 21st annual charity golf tournament on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Sullivan Country Club.

    Individuals interested in serving on the board of directors of Crawford Electric Cooperative have just a few more days to get on the election ballot by turning in a nominating petition signed by at least 15 co-op members. The candidate petition period closes at 5 p.m. Friday, July 26.

ECC to receive more than $500,000 to expand Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships

    East Central College will continue to lead Missouri in advanced manufacturing apprenticeships thanks to a grant provided by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Amanda Davis celebrates 15 years with Peoples Bank

    Joe Hayden, President of Peoples Bank, has announced that Amanda Davis celebrated her 15th anniversary with the bank on July 8.

Murphy joins FCNB

    Scott Perkins, President and CEO of First Community National Bank, is pleased to announce that Tommy Murphy has accepted the position of Internal Auditor and Human Resource Assistant based at the Steelville Financial Center. In his new position, he will conduct financial, safety and personnel audits, coordinate employee benefits, onboard new hires and assist with payroll processing for all divisions of FCNB.
