Bourbon council hears update on water usage

           During its regular monthly meeting last week, the Bourbon City Council heard an update on water usage from Monty Todd, who was tasked with performing a water study after it was discovered water sales were declining in recent years. The issue was first brought up over the summer during the budget process, when it was noted the city is selling less water than expected.

Zuzack family named Missouri Farm Family

            Mike and Tammy Zuzack and family of Bourbon were among the families honored during the 64th annual Missouri Farm Family Day, Aug. 15 at the Missouri State Fair.

Heritage Day being held October 16

            The Bourbon Community Foundation will hold the  third Heritage Day for Bourbon on October 16, 2022 at the Bourbon Community Center. The first Heritage Days were held in 2018 and 2019. Everyone enjoyed it so much that the foundation was asked to make it an annual event. Due to the COVID pandemic, it was not held in 2020 or 2021, but returns this year.

Madison Ham reigns over Bourbon Fall Festival - PHOTO GALLERY

            Twelve-year-old Madison Ham was crowned 2022 Bourbon Junior Miss during a ceremony held Friday evening in downtown Bourbon following the annual Bourbon Fall Festival Parade. This year’s event also featured the annual car show and a bike race.
