The Bourbon School district is working on a feeding program for students while they remain out of school due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is scheduled to begin after the district’s scheduled spring break on March 30.

The Bourbon School District could get a new STEM/Ag building and see security and other improvements made to its elementary and middle school campus if voters approve a $2.3 million no-tax increase bond issue on April 7.
The Bourbon School District has officially announced it will suspend classes beginning Wednesday, March 18, through Friday, April 3, in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. All athletic events and activities planned during that period have also been canceled.
The Bourbon School District has announced it will be conducting a public hearing about its proposed four-day school week for the 2020-21 school year on Thursday, March 19.
With coronavirus concerns leading to “social distancing” across the country and school closings in some states, the Bourbon School District reached out to parents last week to assure them the district is taking extra steps to ensure students and staff members are protected from the disease.
