Crocker takes first at big tourney

    The St. James High School wrestling team tied for 29th in a 43-team field over the weekend at the Kyle Thrasher Classic, held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 31-Feb. 1. Some of the top teams in the state competed in the event.

Lady Tigers fall to Rolla

    Two teams that have been nothing short of great on the defensive end and at least a tad bit inconsistent on the offensive end clashed Friday, Jan. 31 at St. James High School.

Tigers finish second to top-ranked Blair Oaks

    A red-hot run to start the fourth quarter was the difference that allowed the top-seeded Blair Oaks Falcons—the state’s top-ranked Class 3 team—to come from behind and defeat third-seeded host St. James 46-43 in the championship game of the 75th annual St. James Tournament on Saturday.

Wrestling Tigers finish sixth in 13-school St. Clair Classic

    The St. James High School wrestling team finished sixth in the 13-school boys division and ninth in the 19-school girls division during the Fifth Annual St. Clair Classic, held Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Clair High School.

Late three gives Lady Tigers win

    Junior guard Riley Whitener canned a long three-pointer with one second remaining to give the St. James High School girls’ basketball team a 45-43 non-conference victory over the Fatima Comets on Monday at St. James.
