Rolla holding holiday events

    A holiday salute to Rolla’s sister city, Sondershausen Germany will fill a two-day celebration.
    Lichternacht “Light the Night” on Pine Street will be held from 5:30-10 p.m. on Friday, December 6 in downtown Rolla. Downtown businesses will be open for extended hours to feature performances by musicians, actors, story tellers and craft activities.

Forged in Gold commemorative history of Missouri S&T available for pre-order

As Missouri University of Science and Technology prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2020, a commemorative, coffee table-style history book about the university is now available for pre-order.

Festival of Trees taking place in Rolla on Saturday, December 7

    The 2019 Festival of Trees is set for Saturday, December 7 in Rolla. The event, hosted by Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), will be held from 7-10 p.m. at the Hasselmann Alumni House, with a cocktail hour from 6-7 p.m.

    Cindy Butler, administrative director of patient care services at Phelps Health, was one of 13 individuals recently honored for outstanding community service by the Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC).
