On January 8, the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) announced that the Rolla Airport Industrial and Technology Park, located in Vichy, is now a Missouri Certified Site (MCS), meaning it is shovel-ready for companies looking to establish business.

The new year brings a new associate dean for academic affairs to the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at Missouri University of Science and Technology. After five years, Dr. John Myers, professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering at Missouri S&T, is stepping away from the post. Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe, professor of geology and geophysics, will become interim associate dean.
